In this blog I want to focus on , "Staying True To Yourself"  in your writing.  In our world today there are so many opportunities, and avenues where a writer can get help with developing his/her craft.  Everyone knows exactly what you should do, and how you should write that perfect book, of piece.  Its wonderful to have this help available to a writer.  There are editors, publishers, proofreaders, and different software to bring your dream to reality.  But it's important to remember that they are all wanting to have your book make perfect from their aspect.  They want a winner so it will profit them.  Lately I have been seeing authors who are changing their voice to please others.  NEVER do that.  As a famous person once said "“Be yourself, everyone else is already taken"   
       Take the ideas, but never change who you are.  Its good to read other authors, maybe that's what fostered your dream to become one, after reading a book that made you want to write one yourself. Beginning writers often look for ideas from well established authors.  It's fine to learn from them, but never copy them.  You will never be them.   Discover your own unique voice, your own certain way of saying things, telling stories.  No one has your unique background, or knows what inspires, or motivates you.  So use these to become the writer you want to be, a writer like no other on the planet.  Knowing who you are, and how you think and see things is crucial in writing.  You must believe in you, no one else can do that for you.  If you are not sure of who you are, others will be able to topple you from your dream with their doubts.  Staying true to yourself will always make you proud of what you accomplish.  Exhaust all avenues to make your dream a reality, but never sacrifice your integrity just to achieve success.  Stay True To YOU!
